Special Board of Directors Meeting for Nov 23, 2013

The next BOD meeting is scheduled for November 23, 2013 at 1 pm. at Rich Kelley's place, 29350 W. Bonita Klondyke Rd (lot 185)   The agenda will be:
 
1.Grading of the Associations roads
2.Disposition of the grader
3.February 1, 2014 annual members meeting and elections
4.Recording of the amendment to CCR 6.4
5.Polling of Membership on direction of changes to the CCR’s, i.e. keep and modify or do away with
6. Housekeeping: Checks – a)Need to change names on account and two signature checks
                                           b)Allow treasurer to write up to X amount for small purchases w/o board vote
                                           c)Conflict of interest pledge
                                           d)Insurance -  change of directors
                                           e)Deadlines

Minutes of Special Members Meeting, November 9, 2013

Highroads Property Owners association


Directors in Attendance: Bert Hume, Al Duff, Rich Kelley, Dave West

Location: Valley Telecom Conference Room, 752 E. Maley, Willcox AZ

Agenda: Count ballots for election of Board of Directors, Seat new Board of Directors


Meeting called to order by Bert Hume at 1:30 pm.

All ballots mailed to acting Secretary Dave West, along with all ballots delivered by hand prior to the beginning of the meeting were counted first by John Kanterakis Lot 234. The ballots were counted again by Tony Aceto Lot 213. Both counts matched. After counting the ballots, the ballots were sealed and will be stored by the Secretary until the February 2014 election.

The results of the ballot counts were:
Al Duff – 86
Rich Kelley – 49
Bert Hume – 42
Dave West – 50
Ron Phillips – 37

The election results were announced to the attending members by Dave West.

The new Board of Directors met in executive session and decided that the following positions would be filled: Al Duff – President, Dave West – Secretary, Rich Kelley – Treasurer.

The results of the Boards executive meeting were then announced to the attending Membership.

There being no further business, the meeting, upon motion duly made, seconded and unanimously carried, was adjourned.

Special Members Meeting

The Association will hold a Special Members Meeting on November 9, 2013.  The purpose of this meeting is two fold, first to introduce the candidates for the Board of Directors and allow you to ask them questions about their intentions. Secondly, after the question and answer period we will call for all ballots. The ballots which are handed in at that time, as well as the mailed in ballots, will be counted. The results will be announced and the new Board of Directors will be formed. The meeting will be held at the Valley Telecom meeting room in Willcox starting at 1:00pm.  All members have been sent a ballot with an explanatory letter. If you are a member and have not received a ballot/letter then please contact the Board Secretary (Dave West) via this web site. Emergency road repairs Meeting

The Board of Directors will be holding an emergency meeting on October 12, 2013 at 10:00 am at Rich Kelley's place, 29359 W. Bonita Klondyke Rd.  The agenda will be the emergency repairs to Paddy's River Rd. (washed out culvert) and Paddy Lynch Rd. (sink hole).

Annual POA meeting

This year's annual POA meeting is scheduled for April 27, 2013 at 2:00p.m.
Rich and Karen Kelley will be hosting it again.  They are lot 185 on Bonita Klondyke Rd.  If you are coming from Bonita, it is just over 18 miles on the dirt road.  The mailbox shows "KELLEY"
